  1. Thanks for this great prompt! I would love to be more knowledgeable about plants and everything related to growing them. Over the years I’ve always had a passion for gardening and am never happier than when I’m playing in the dirt! I can’t say when I became interested in plants, seems like all my life. My parents always had gardens and flower beds and I can still remember the wonderful smell of fresh mown grass by my dad’s push mower.
    For the past several years I’ve especially enjoyed growing herbs as they have so many wonderful properties. Two books that gave me great inspiration and passion for plants are The Secret Life of Plants by Thompkins and Bird and Behaving As If The God In All Life Mattered by Machaelle Wright.
